Sneak peek of Daveth and Trish’s wedding

Torrential rains suddenly gave way to beautiful blue skies just in time for Daveth and Trish’s special day. The Station House in Kilmessan was the perfect setting for such a warm and intimate ceremony. Sneak peeks are getting harder and harder to do when it comes to picking what makes the cut! Anyway, enjoy!

Lovely sand ceremony where they poured sand from two different locations to symbolise their marriage. So sweet.

Mr and Mrs Foxy! I mean, Fox.

And last but not least, a little bit of colour to shake things up.

Thanks, Daveth and Trish!

Shelley and Clive, a sneak peek!

How’s that for a happy bunch? čÖé

One of the loveliest weddings I’ve had the privilege of being a small part of, it was a gorgeous day with a wonderful couple and here is their sneak peek.

Thank you, Shelley and Clive!

And I’ll end with a bit of Shelley, Percy that is, for Shelley.

“See, the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower could be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;–
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?”

Hello, Mr Man. A sneak peek.

Presenting…. Mr Man.

10 days old and still no name. He is the reason I’ve been so busy, but also so ecstatic at the same time. We are so grateful for all the well wishes, cards and presents we have received and also for the support during our extended stay in hospital. So, a sneak peek for you while I enjoy my little man.

Max and Anna Marie, a Winter Handfasting

Why would I shoot a wedding during the worst winter in the last 10 years with the most deplorable driving conditions AND 37 weeks pregnant? Well, for the love of, well, love… What else?

Max asked me to help with his wedding photographs a few months back and knowing how late in the game I would be by the time it rolled around, I made no promises, but boy was I glad to be part of their wonderful day. The ceremony was a traditional handfasting and it was held at Markree Castle in Co Sligo. Very intimate and very personal, it was a great experience. I hope these have done their day some justice!

Sneak Peek! Hello, Jaimie!

A sneak peek for the very adorable Jaimie who had nothing but smiles and giggles for me during the whole session. I can’t believe how BUSY boys are! I don’t remember Gabriella being that busy at 11 months, he was a real hurricane. But who can resist those beautiful eyes?

Thanks!

Hello, world!

Rock on!

Sneak Peek! A morning with the girls… and daddy too!

Sorry, daddy! I couldn’t resist. He was truly outnumbered with his very lovely wife and 3 adorable girls.

Phew, what a day! Back to back sessions today and I am asleep on my feet but I couldn’t resist sharing a few from this morning’s session. The session was a “new baby” gift from a very generous auntie and uncle and though I got lost on the way there (my fault for not listening to directions) I knew I was in the right house as soon as I saw daddy because he was the spitting image of his brother! I’m sure they’re tired of hearing that too.

(shameless plug) Gift sessions are super awesome and with Christmas coming around the corner, you know where I am! (end of shameless plug)

So, without further ado…

Sisters rock!

The new addition.

Giggles with the girls

One of my faves from the day. Not only is the baby’s sleepy smile sooooo sweet, but I love how the older girls are holding hands. Sweetness!

Thanks you so much for having me over today and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Another sneak peek tomorrow so visit again soon. čÖé

Sneak Peek… Little Miss Heidi

I had the distinct privilege of spending the morning with the gorgeous Miss Heidi and her equally stunning mum at their beautiful home. I’ve never seen a more alert 2 week old! Here are a few photos to tide them over til I get the rest done! thank you!

Woods’ Sneak Peek!

A quick sneak peek of the Woods’ Family Portraits I took over the weekend. I love family portraits, especially because my own is so far away. They were celebrating T&M’s 40th wedding anniversary and I was really priveledged to come along to capture them all together. The siblings came from Dublin, Belfast and as far as New Zealand to bring the family together. Thank you for letting me share your special day!

In the flush of love’s light we dare be brave…

And suddenly we see
that love costs all we are
and will ever be.
Yet it is only love
which sets us free.

– Maya Angelou

I am only just going through the photos from Karen and Ronan’s amazing wedding. So, this isn’t so much a sneak peek as a sneak! Check back for more of this beautiful bride. Oh, and the groom too. čśë

Hanging with the Hendersons

I spent an evening with this lovely family the other day, and here is the promised sneak peek,

First off, a very special member of the family, Winnie! Who can resist those eyes?! čÖé

Then, in order of appearance…

Now, admittedly, on first glance, you wouldn’t automatically guess they were siblings, but if you spend any time with them at all, it is really very noticeable!

And for the stars of the evening,

Happy Anniversary, folks!

Thank you for inviting me into your home and for letting me share this time with your family!

Happy Belated Easter or appropriate chocolate eating holiday…

My princess.

I have been very naughty for neglecting my blog of late. Life seems to get in the way of things sometimes, right? čÖé Easter passed before I noticed and only have the chocolate stains to show for it. Whatever you celebrate, I hope you avoided the chocolate coma. Happy belated Easter!

Sweet cheeks

Everyone say, “Aaaaaaaahhh”. Talk about sweetcheeks. I had the privilege of spending a quiet hour with this angel and he was such a sweetheart. It’s been a very busy week and I am nearly nodding off in front of the computer as we were in Belfast today to attend Helen Bartlett’s very excellent seminar on children’s portraiture at Calumet. Helen was so enthusiastic and kept us rapt with attention for almost 6 whole hours! If you have a chance to attend one of her seminars, I highly recommend it.

I will love you and leave you with this short post but check in again soon!
