Who’s there? ME! I’m still about, just being totally slack with updating. There is a rash of editing going on so hopefully it will follow that there will be a rash of updating to follow!
September already, where has the year gone?

I can’t believe my blog is two years old today!
There have been so many changes since 08/08/08 but I’m still here! I hope you are too.
Seeing as I launched with my little princess, here is our latest addition in all his baby drool glory.
Thanks for visiting, world!

Torrential rains suddenly gave way to beautiful blue skies just in time for Daveth and Trish’s special day. The Station House in Kilmessan was the perfect setting for such a warm and intimate ceremony. Sneak peeks are getting harder and harder to do when it comes to picking what makes the cut! Anyway, enjoy!

Lovely sand ceremony where they poured sand from two different locations to symbolise their marriage. So sweet.

Mr and Mrs Foxy! I mean, Fox.

And last but not least, a little bit of colour to shake things up.

Thanks, Daveth and Trish!

How’s that for a happy bunch?
One of the loveliest weddings I’ve had the privilege of being a small part of, it was a gorgeous day with a wonderful couple and here is their sneak peek.
Thank you, Shelley and Clive!

And I’ll end with a bit of Shelley, Percy that is, for Shelley.
“See, the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower could be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;–
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?”

Presenting…. Mr Man.
10 days old and still no name. He is the reason I’ve been so busy, but also so ecstatic at the same time. We are so grateful for all the well wishes, cards and presents we have received and also for the support during our extended stay in hospital. So, a sneak peek for you while I enjoy my little man.

Why would I shoot a wedding during the worst winter in the last 10 years with the most deplorable driving conditions AND 37 weeks pregnant? Well, for the love of, well, love… What else?
Max asked me to help with his wedding photographs a few months back and knowing how late in the game I would be by the time it rolled around, I made no promises, but boy was I glad to be part of their wonderful day. The ceremony was a traditional handfasting and it was held at Markree Castle in Co Sligo. Very intimate and very personal, it was a great experience. I hope these have done their day some justice!

Flowers and champers, check.

One radiant bride, check.

One gorgeous gown, check.

A hope and a prayer, check.

Attentive brideslaves bridesmaids, check.

A tiny bit of help, check!

An excited groom, check.

One moment with dad.

A kiss. One of many to come.

Sneaking away.

Bestmen!

Mr and Mrs!

I told you there were more kisses!

A quick retouch.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Gorgeous cake, made by the groom’s mum!
It’s so hard to choose which photos to include here but I hope it’s given you a flavour of their day.
Check back soon!

Enjoy. Comment if you want me to send you the full link.

This photo was taken during the rehearsal the night before, was praying I’d get one as good on the day itself!

I must really apologize for the recent lull in posts. I can’t believe how quickly the months have passed. It was a very very busy end of year for me as well as being away overseas. Unfortunately, holiday mode and work didn’t really mix for me. Huge apologies to anyone who’s orders were delayed, they should all be on their way to you for final confirmation or delivery. I will have a ton of new posts in the next couple of weeks (cross fingers) to showcase my recent projects and really, just to let you all know i’m still alive!
You might also notice that my web address has changed to http://christinajirwin.com so pass it on! Happy new year!
A few recent photos from Jessica and Conor’s January 2, 2010 wedding. I’ll do up a proper sneak peek soon.

A sneak peek for the very adorable Jaimie who had nothing but smiles and giggles for me during the whole session. I can’t believe how BUSY boys are! I don’t remember Gabriella being that busy at 11 months, he was a real hurricane. But who can resist those beautiful eyes?
Thanks!
Hello, world!

Rock on!
