On 12/12/12, this blog will be four years old! And what a bad blogger am I! While all around me, blogs about every imaginable thing, I have been neglecting mine.:( I’m not one for resolutions but I will *try* to update more often. You can catch more recent updates on my facebook page!

I’ve been a very bad blogger, haven’t I? Let me assure you, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth (although it sometimes feels like I’m buried under mountains of editing!). I do update my facebook page a little bit more regularly, so please head over for a peek.

i LoVe maternity shoots. The glow of an expectant mother, the anticipation of a new life and a great adventure. It’s enough to make you broody! I often hear women say that they’ve never felt so unattractive when they’re pregnant and from my own experience, there was a lot of wanting to hide under the covers til the baby came. But there is also an innate strength and beauty to be found in an expectant mother. A mystery and miracle that is wholly a woman’s. Nine months of nurturing that start a person. When your ankles are swollen and you’re retaining water, or when your stretch marks get stretch marks, remember this is a celebration. This is life.

Happy New Year! Even if it’s so late I should be saying Kung Hei Fat Choy instead! We’ve been busy little bees since my last post an eon ago so I’ll be updating like mad in the next few days.

As a PS, my photo hosting site, flickr, changed their settings some time last year and it’s making my brain explode trying to figure out how to insert an image. If anyone wants to take pity and explain it to me, i’m all ears!

I only have about 10 minutes til 101010 is over, but considering I started this blog on 080808, I thought it would be auspicious to mark the day. Sunday is pancake day in our house and I wouldn’t have had any photos today at all except Gabriella was showing off her Sunday Special Sprinkles Pancake. Max just thinks all the fuss is hilar!

Edit: OH NO! I can’t believe I forgot to hit publish! hahaha! Oh well.
